Day long mobilisation workshop to help operational delivery teams understand how to integrate social value into overall contract delivery.
Structured, in person session covering:
Customer expectations - what the public sector customer is looking for.
How to convert current commitments into a detailed social value action plan with clear milestones, governance and reporting.
Outputs include a consolidated commitments list and a template contract-specific high-level delivery plan.
Recruitment
Support to permanently recruit dedicated, in‑house social value professionals who can confidently manage social value delivery across live contracts.
Writing and scoping technical elements of the job description
Targeted promotion of opportunity to our specialist social value network and in the geographical locations where contract is being delivered.
Screening and selection of candidates and Interview support.
Onboarding and training of new staff to help them hit the ground running
Delivery Planning & Mobilisation
3 - 6 months of expert support during the mobilisation phase to turn commitments into actionable plans to embed the right governance, processes and partnerships from day one. Our approach typically includes:
Mobilisation workshops both internally and with the Authority
Development of detailed Social Value Action Plans
Establishment of clear governance, roles and reporting, with tracking and escalation for accountability.
Engagement with the Authority to agree commitments, finalise the delivery plan and secure sign‑off.
Coordination with internal teams, supply chain and delivery partners to agree delivery for each commitment.
Embedded Social Value Managers
Embedded social value specialists who act as a single point of coordination for delivery, stakeholder engagement and reporting - ensuring commitments are actively progressed, not just monitored.
Dedicated external Social Value Specialist contractors embedded in your Operations team to ensure delivery of all commitments made.
We can support with short or long-term contracts and provide 0.25 to 1 FTE.
Specialists report internally to Head of Account or relevant staff members with ongoing external advisory support and quality assurance provided by Samtaler’s expert team.
