Scott CollinsScott has been in procurement for over 25 years, starting his career on the graduate scheme with M&S. He has led direct and indirect procurement teams in a variety of sectors including FMCG, Leisure, Politics, Clothing and Retail. In 2010 he founded Hawtrey Dene, a procurement and cost transformation focused consultancy working with clients in the private and public sector. They are highly regarded for their approach to client engagements which places stakeholders at the heart of all activity.
He has served as a Councillor in a London borough since 1998 and was the Cabinet Member for Coordination and Central Services (covering Procurement and Commissioning, Comms, Legal, HR and L&D) for 10 years until 2016. He worked on several transformation projects across the authority the merger of the Procurement and Commissioning functions to improve outcomes and service delivery. With Cabinet colleagues he was engaged in the set up and delivery Hillingdon Improvement Programme (HIP) and Business Improvement Delivery (BID) process which removed significant costs across the authority. Scott has a real passion for building successful relationships and the scope that this offers within organisations to deliver sustainable value, positive impact and operational improvement for all parties if built upon the right foundations. |
